ABOUT THE SPACE

Escape to Nature’s Cove Cabin A, a cozy tiny cabin tucked away in the woods near Manoy Creek on Lake Martin. Located across the road from the lake, the cabin is not waterfront, but the water is less than 250 steps away along a wooded trail. Relax on the covered porch, gather around the fire pit, or head down to the shared waterfront area for fishing, kayaking, and time on the lake.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have their own cabin and outdoor area with a covered porch, gas grill, and fire pit. A wooded trail leads to the shared waterfront area with a dock, seating, picnic tables, and kayaks available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nature’s Cove has two tiny cabins, Cabin A and Cabin B. Each sleeps up to 4 guests and can be rented separately or together to accommodate up to 8.

WATER ACCESS & IMPORTANT DETAILS

Full lake access is available during summer pool, approximately April through October, when guests can fish, kayak, swim, boat, and keep a boat at the shared dock. From November through March, lake levels are lowered and there is no water at the dock, so boats cannot be docked. The creek remains accessible for fishing and kayaking year-round.

Water at the dock is approximately 4 feet deep during full pool, and diving is not permitted. When bringing a boat into the creek, stay to the far left when entering and far right when leaving, and follow the buoys marking shallow-water areas.

LOCATION

Nature’s Cove is near Lakeside Marina at Bay Pines, Peanut Island, Big Beach, Historic Smith Mountain, and DARE Park, with easy access to boating, fishing, hiking, dining, and other Lake Martin activities. Auburn is approximately 30 minutes away, Montgomery 45 minutes, Birmingham 1½ hours, and Atlanta about 2 hours.
